My arrival in 1964 permitted me to know and work with some of the golden voices of NBC: George Stone, John Holtman, Greg Donovan and Henry Cooke. I was particularly fond of Cooke, and we were friends. Jim Hill and Ed Grennan were my contemporaries. They have both retired and have been replaced by an audio tape, and to think that once the announcers had a secretary.
